In my country, this type of pastry, which contains cottage cheese and very little flour, is called "zapekanka." Every child in my country knows what it is, and I don't think I know anyone who doesn't like it. There are thousands of recipes for this delicious dessert; today I'm sharing one of them with you.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g of cottage cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 2.5 tablespoons of flour pinch of salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 40g of dark chocolate cut into small pieces
  • grated peel of a lime
  • vanilla

Preparation: Mix the cottage cheese with eggs, sugar, salt, and lime zest thoroughly. Add flour, stir, and finally add chopped chocolate. Pour into the greased pan and place in the oven preheated to 200°C. When you're done with the cake, lower the temperature to 150°C and bake for an hour. I made a berry sauce to accompany this cake; it goes really well.
