Ingredients to prepare Beetroot Brownie

- 300g of cooked beetroot
- 200g of butter
- 250g of dairy-free fondant chocolate
- 3 “M” eggs
- 200g sugar (preferably brown sugar)
- 60g of wheat flour
- 30g of cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of chemical leavening agent
- pinch of salt
As you can see, the important ingredient is the beetroot, but don't worry, since you can't taste the beetroot at all, but thanks to it, the texture is great.
How to Make Beet Brownies. Step by Step

Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease the baking pan with butter. I only had a 20cm round baking pan, and it worked out great.
We chop the beets and blend them with the blender to form a puree. We place them in the colander and let the liquid drain, helping us with the spoon.
Combine the chopped chocolate with butter and melt it in a double boiler. Beat the eggs with sugar until a creamy foam forms that doubles in size.
We combine this mixture with the chocolate and butter to form a smooth dough. Add the flour with sifted cocoa, the baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Carefully stir the mixture with a spatula. Finally, add our beet puree and stir.
Pour the batter into the pan and bake. You can let it cool; it's delicious both hot and cold. It doesn't need any sauce or cream; it's a great addition on its own.
