According to various investigations, Ayurveda is the oldest science of health and life and literally means "the knowledge of life", so much so that Ayurveda has been practiced in India for more than 3,000 years with medicinal herbs , water and magic formulas.

The central concept of Ayurveda is the harmony of body , mind and emotions , the Ayurvedic method believes that all people can be divided by character, predisposition and characteristics into three basic types called doshas: " Vata ", " Pitta " and " Kapha ".

There is no pure typing, because in all human beings there are parts of the three doshas, but a particular dosha always predominates, this stronger dosha controls physical, mental and spiritual functions, but only when these energies are in harmony, the person and his body will be healthy.

This requires a combination of all areas of life, such as a healthy diet, appropriate lifestyle and behavior, positive emotions and thoughts, but if this balance is disturbed, it can cause disease.

Energy and power with Ayurvedic tea

Ayurvedic teas are typically blends of different herbs and spices tailored to each dosha. Ayurvedic tea can be stimulating or calming, warming or cooling, and can stimulate or suppress your appetite.

Typical spices include cardamom, cinnamon, ginger , licorice, cloves, nutmeg, mint , and fennel. The essential oils contained in herbal blends are easily absorbed by the body and act quickly on the central nervous system.

These teas generally do not contain caffeine or theine and are well tolerated by sensitive individuals, as long as they are not allergic to any of these spices.

Ayurvedic tea blends are highly recommended for balance, and that's why at TéTique , we always recommend drinking organically grown products so your body can absorb the most natural ingredients possible, free from pesticide residue.

The preparation of Ayurvedic teas

For all three doshas, the preparation of loose organic Tétique tea is the same:

2 teaspoons of the mixture

1/2 l of boiling water

Rest for 7-9 minutes, depending on the desired strength.

Filter it and put it in a preheated thermos or teapot.

Tea can be served hot for dinner or between meals.

Organic Ayurvedic tea for Kapha dosha types should not contain any sugar or sweeteners, and Vata and Pitta types should only use small amounts.
